Libraries

Applications do not write shared interface parts themselves. Each part lives in one source and is copied byte for byte into the applications; copies are never edited by hand and automatic gates catch any drift from the source.

Rules

• Single source: a behavior or look is never written twice. A fix goes to the source and is distributed to every application.
• Values come from tokens: color, spacing, radius and duration are never hard-coded inside a library.
• Accessibility is built in: keyboard use, focus rings, screen-reader labels and reduced motion are the library’s own job.
• Application independent: a library does not depend on any application’s code, data model or styling tool.

  The secondary palette for charts, tags and status colors. The interactive color is always the brand blue.

  Glass material: translucent surfaces, blur and glass buttons, switches and sliders. Falls back to opaque surfaces when reduced transparency is requested.

• ason-motion

  Motion tokens, enter and exit recipes and spring curves. Nothing moves when reduced motion is on.

  The line icon set and the side menu; the same icon language in every application.

• ason-header

  The top bar: page title, indicators and the account menu. On phones its popovers open as bottom sheets that close when dragged down.
